In the first Nordic Chip Collaboration webinar, we launched the collaboration platform and set the stage for future dialogues and events. Representatives from Innovation Norway, Business Finland, Business Sweden and Nordic Innovation shared insights on the chip industry's growth and innovation. Key takeaways from the pre-study on the Nordic semiconductor ecosystem were presented, followed by a panel dialogue with stakeholders from SINTEF, Applied Materials, Lund University, Obducat, and Technology Industries of Finland.

In the second Nordic Chip Collaboration webinar, we explored the ecosystem across company borders ahead of the physical meet-up in Helsinki in December. Representatives from Innovation Norway, Business Sweden, Microchip Technology Norway, STMicroelectronics Silicon Carbide Sweden, Canatu Finland, ZeroPoint Technologies Sweden, VTT Finland, and Business Finland shared their insights and perspectives on Nordic collaboration. The event featured presentations and a panel discussion on production and R&D infrastructure.

Since 2024, the Nordic Chip Collaboration has successfully fostered partnerships in the Nordic semiconductor industry through webinars and a physical meeting in Helsinki. In 2025, we will continue this momentum with a spring webinar, an early autumn physical event, and a late autumn webinar, aiming to enhance cooperation among Finland, Sweden, and Norway's semiconductor sectors.
